WORLD TOUR CONVENTION CALENDAR

Bid Parties: At the following conventions, the Los Angeles in 2006 Bid Committee will be hosting Worldcon Bid Parties on one or more major nights of the convention. For information about locating each party, please visit the various party boards or read the daily newsletter of the convention in question. Badge stickers will be distributed at each party; if you can't find our party, ask someone with the small yellow-circle sticker (with the red & blue rocketship logo) on their badge!

Skill Badges: At most of these conventions, we'll be offering a new skill badge to all Space Cadets; that is, all pre-supporters and Friends of the Bid. Each pre-supporter (or higher) is entitled to collect the new badge at the convention for free; you will be required to give your name for our records. Additionally, each pre-supporter (or higher) is entitled to purchase up to two additional prior badges at the nominal fee of $1.00 US per badge. No more than three badges may be collected at any one time. We will normally not announce any skill badge subject prior to the convention it is slated to appear at!

At Worldcon in San Jose, we made up a checklist of the badges that have been given out so far. It lists the badge, shows a little picture, and tells you a little known fact about it! Dates are listed by cycles; that is, the September-August year between Worldcons. All dates and appearances are subject to change. Please note that at this time, we have not finalized plans for the later half of 2002 and 2003; we have listed those conventions we have definitely committed to, and will be adding more as the months progress.
